We are a Qualified Education Service Provider (QESP) for the Ohio Afterschool Child Enrichment (ACE) Program. Tutoring students of all ages allows my staff and me to support learners who once believed they couldn’t achieve. Once students work with us, the words “I can’t” become “I can.”

Our services get RESULTS because we believe in one-on-one tutoring sessions and use a variety of instructional materials to meet each student’s needs. Individualized sessions prevent embarrassment and build self-esteem and confidence. When students feel confident, they speak more freely and receive the focused attention that is often difficult to obtain in a classroom setting.

The confidence students gain through our services encourages them to do their very best—academically and beyond.

SERVICES:

Tutoring services are available both in person and virtually for all ages, including children, adults, and senior citizens. Our tutors are highly qualified, certified teachers. We specialize in Reading, Writing, Math, Ohio State Tests, SAT, ACT, scholarship writing, and proper completion of scholarship applications.

Before tutoring begins, each student is assessed so we can determine their needs based on the results. It is important to us to meet the student’s educational needs and help close any skill gaps. Once the assessment is complete, results are provided immediately so we can create an individualized plan to strengthen areas of deficiency.

FAQ’S
How will you know what your child is doing in our tutoring program?
After each tutoring session, notes are provided via Google Docs. This allows parents or caregivers to stay informed about the skills covered and activities completed. In addition, a parent meeting is scheduled after four to six weeks to discuss progress. This ensures strong communication, keeps everyone updated on the student’s growth, and provides clarity about the tutoring instruction being provided.

Will you get to see your child’s work?
Yes. We provide portfolios for students in in-person tutoring sessions only. The portfolio includes all of the work completed throughout the program. Each assignment is graded and reviewed by the tutor. When the student completes the program, the portfolio is yours to take home.

Does our program work on homework assignments?
Yes, but we focus on the specific skills the student is struggling with so we can build their capacity and confidence in the classroom. In addition, we work to communicate with the teacher to ensure there’s no confusion between how the skill was taught in class and how we reinforce it during tutoring.

How long does a child need to be in tutoring?
It depends on the student and the level of assistance needed. I typically recommend at least eight weeks. This gives the student time to build confidence in themself and in the subject matter.

How much do I charge?
Free consultations are provided. Tutoring fees are based on the number of days and hours needed. We offer both hourly rates and package options. Call or email us for more information!
